A New One-Stop Store with Products and Services For A Healthier Lifestyle

Watsons Malaysia opens its new store in Quayside Mall and two new health concept stores in the country located at SS15 Courtyard and Empire Shopping Gallery at Subang Jaya.

The two new health concept stores enable Watsons members and customers to receive a comprehensive shopping experience on health-related products and supplements, including health services that are made available at these stores.

“As the leading health and beauty retailer in the country, Watsons see this as an opportunity to meet the needs of our members and customers given the ever-growing demand especially when it comes to health. During this time, the awareness of having a healthier regime and hygienic habits is a key takeaway and Watsons is taking this as part of its community offering to provide the best in health products and services,” said Caryn Loh, Managing Director, Watsons Malaysia.

Aside from just offering health products, members and customers can also look forward to health services provided in-store which include services such as blood pressure test, blood glucose test, smoking cessation consultation, BMI and visceral fat screening, homecare & rehab products and e-prescription.

Caryn added, “With these basic health services, we can provide our members and customers with a holistic offering for their health-related matters with health targeted promotion which enables everyone to enjoy better value and savings when shopping for health products at our stores and online. Watsons also introduced Health 45+, a program for members aged 45 and above to enjoy special privileges such as complimentary consultation, an additional 5% discount on vitamins and supplements and a special 10% discount on dispensaries or pharmacy items. To enjoy these privileges, members can activate their privileges at the nearest Watsons health store and consulting with Watsons pharmacists and health advisors.

Upon activation, members will receive a welcome kit which includes health vouchers savings worth more than RM130, a gold health screening package voucher with Pathlab worth RM120 (Normal Price at RM220) and a Prudential insurance special with Watsons health vouchers worth RM100.

Additionally, an extra benefit for members is that Watsons has introduced an e-prescription service whereby members can obtain medicines easily from the doctor for their medications. With a just few simple steps, prescriptions can be presented to Watsons’ pharmacists at the stores to replenish their medicine.
