KUALA LUMPUR, 27 June 2026 – Public Gold, one of Southeast Asia's leading precious metals groups, hosted its largest-ever Award Recognition Night (ARN) at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), bringing together more than 3,200 Public Gold Business Owners (PGBOs) to celebrate outstanding achievements for Financial Year 2025/26.
The prestigious event was attended by Dato' Seri Louis Ng, Founder and Executive Chairman of Public Gold Group, together with Datin Seri Yvonne Lim, Managing Director of Aurora Italia International Berhad.
Founded in Penang in 2008, Public Gold has grown into an international precious metals group with operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Dubai, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, serving more than 2.6 million customers worldwide.
During FY2025/26, the Group achieved another significant milestone with cumulative sales exceeding RM27 billion while distributed RM490 million in incentives to qualified Public Gold Business Owners, reflecting its continued growth and commitment to rewarding entrepreneurial success.
Earlier this year, Public Gold was officially recognised by Guinness World Records for the Most Deployments of Gold ATMs, with approximately 161 Gold ATMs installed across Malaysia, Indonesia and Dubai, demonstrating the company's continued commitment to innovation and making physical gold ownership more accessible.
Under the theme "One Team, Endless Records, Legacy Continues," ARN 2026 recognised 1,422 top-performing PGBOs across more than 24 award categories, with total rewards amounting to RM30.98 million, almost double the RM15.81 million awarded to 780 achievers in the previous financial year.
Among the evening's highest honours, Million Star Triple Diamonds Tuan Haji Zulkifli Bin Shafie and Puan Hajjah Najdah Binti Mohammed Hussain were recognised for their exceptional leadership and business achievements, receiving financial rewards totalling RM2.27 million.
Another highlight was the recognition of Million Star Double Diamond Mahagurus Tuan Syukor Hashim and Puan Jonaina Nordin, who received RM1.03 million after nearly 18 years of building one of Public Gold's most successful business networks. Their journey continues to inspire thousands of entrepreneurs across the region.
Public Gold also announced the qualifiers for the Public Gold Leadership Seminar (PGLS) 2026, with 949 Business Owners qualifying for overseas leadership programmes in Budapest, Hungary, and Yogyakarta, Indonesia—another record compared to the previous year. The Group has invested more than RM22 million in the programme, underscoring its commitment to rewarding excellence and developing future leaders.
Another major highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the Malayan Tiger Gold Coin, a limited- edition one-ounce 999.9 fine gold coin with a worldwide mintage of only 1,000 pieces. Inspired by Malaysia's iconic national symbol, the coin represents strength, courage and enduring prosperity while showcasing Public Gold's craftsmanship and excellence in precious metals minting.
