OPPO Launches Reno16 Series with Bold 3D Pop Planet Design

Kuala Lumpur, 8 July 2026 – OPPO has officially launched the Reno16 Series in Malaysia, introducing the Reno16 Pro 5G, Reno16 5G and Reno16 F 5G. Combining a bold new design language with advanced AI-powered photography and intelligent everyday features, the latest Reno lineup is built to inspire creators while delivering reliable performance for modern lifestyles.

Leading the series is the eye-catching 3D Pop Planet Design, available in the stunning Pop White finish. Featuring industry-first HoloVerse 3D Technology, the design creates a floating, nebula-inspired visual effect that changes with light and movement, giving the device a distinctive premium appearance. The Reno16 5G and Reno16 Pro 5G are also offered in Dream Purple, while the Reno16 Pro is available in Starlight Black.

Designed for content creators, the Reno16 Series introduces a comprehensive suite of AI-powered photography tools that make capturing and editing content easier than ever. Every model features a 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view, while the triple rear camera system includes a high-resolution main camera with OIS, a telephoto portrait camera and an ultra-wide lens. The Reno16 Pro further elevates photography with a 200MP Ultra Clear Main Camera, delivering exceptional detail for cropping and reframing.

Creativity extends beyond photography with Pop Cam, which lets users instantly apply nostalgic shooting styles such as Digicam, Instant Film and Light Leak effects. The new Create Hub also introduces AI-powered editing features including AI Remix Collage and Popout Collage 2.0, allowing users to transform photos and videos into expressive, social media-ready creations with animated elements and dynamic layouts.

Powered by ColorOS 16, the Reno16 Series also debuts several intelligent AI experiences. The new AI Snap Key provides instant access to AI Mind Space, enabling users to capture, organise and revisit important information with a single press. Complementing this are AI Bill Manager, AI Mind Pilot and AI Menu Translation, making everyday tasks, travel and productivity smarter and more intuitive.

Performance remains a key strength across the lineup. Large batteries ranging from 6,700mAh to 7,000mAh, paired with 80W SUPERVOOC™ fast charging, deliver dependable all-day power. The Reno16 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super Platform, while the Reno16 runs on the Snapdragon® 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform, ensuring smooth gaming, streaming and multitasking. Enhanced durability is also assured with IP68, IP69 and IP69K water and dust resistance ratings.

Alongside the smartphones, OPPO also introduced OPPO Bubble, a lightweight magnetic accessory that doubles as a rear-camera monitor and remote shutter, offering creators greater flexibility for selfies, group shots and creative compositions.

The OPPO Reno16 Series is now available for pre-order through OPPO Malaysia's authorised channels. The Reno16 Pro 5G is priced at RM3,699, the Reno16 5G starts from RM2,699, while the Reno16 F 5G starts from RM1,999, with an online-exclusive eco-friendly packaging option available from RM1,899.
