Big Tiny Brings Eco-Conscious Tiny Home Living to Malaysia
Eco-tourism meets innovative design as Big Tiny, the Singapore-born pioneer in tiny-house hospitality, makes its Malaysian debut with two beautifully crafted, eco-conscious homes now installed at Amigo Clubhouse @ 16 Sierra, Puchong.
Founded in 2017, Big Tiny has made waves across 19 countries with its unique blend of sustainable living and immersive nature experiences. With over 650 tiny homes globally and a mission to rethink travel through low-impact stays, Malaysia now joins a growing international footprint that spans Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Europe.
“We’re excited to bring the Big Tiny experience to Malaysia,” says Adrian Chia, Co-founder and CEO. “There’s a growing appetite here for sustainable travel and meaningful escapes – and we’re here to meet that demand.”
Big Tiny homes are more than just small spaces — they’re thoughtfully designed sanctuaries built with sustainability at heart. Constructed off-site using durable light gauge steel and eco-friendly materials, each unit sits lightly on the land without permanent foundations. Features like rainwater harvesting, composting toilets, and solar panels (currently meeting up to 35% of energy needs) reduce environmental impact while maintaining comfort and charm.
Beyond travel, Big Tiny also offers Malaysians the chance to invest in or own tiny homes globally, connecting a community of travellers, landowners, and investors in a unique model that benefits all.
The launch in Puchong is a collaboration with IOI Properties Group Berhad, whose ESG commitments align with Big Tiny’s vision for sustainable living. This partnership marks the beginning of what both brands hope will be a wider shift toward greener getaways and lifestyle choices.
To celebrate, the public is invited to the Big Tiny Fiesta on 7 & 8 November 2025, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Amigo Clubhouse. Expect an evening of fun, discovery, and inspiration centred around eco-living and tiny home culture.
Whether you’re dreaming of a minimalist escape or looking to be part of a global movement toward conscious travel, Big Tiny is here to redefine what it means to live large — in small, smart spaces.
