To bring the Richie Loopy theme to life, MOP KLIA has curated a lineup of vibrant activities and performances, designed to spark joy and good fortune throughout the Lunar New Year celebration. Spin the Loopy Fortune Wheelie, join the interactive Knock Knock Fortune Activity, or get creative at the Loopy Pouch Workshop—taking home a fortune bag, your fortune slip, and exciting rewards like stickers or angpows. Adding a modern cultural touch, the Digital Calligraphy Art experience lets shoppers create personalized festive greetings on an interactive digital screen, bringing home a meaningful keepsake to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Running daily at Sunshine Square from 1 to 15 February 2026, 12:00pm to 7:00pm, participation requires a minimum spend of RM300 in a maximum of two (2) receipts at any participating outlets, while slots last—first come, first served.
To amplify the festive spirit, MOP KLIA will host a series of high-energy Festive Cheers Performances throughout the campaign. Visitors can catch the God of Prosperity spreading blessings and smiles, and join in the fun with cheerful Loopy walkabouts, scheduled three times daily, each lasting 30 minutes. The celebration will reach a spectacular peak with dynamic Chinese Orchestra performances, thrilling Lion Dances, and the thunderous beats of 24 Festive Drums, creating unforgettable, interactive moments for shoppers to snap photos, soak in the vibrant atmosphere, and fully embrace the joy of the Lunar New Year. All this excitement unfolds during the weekends of the Lunar New Year campaign!
In the spirit of giving, MOP KLIA is treating shoppers to exclusive festive redemptions and special shopping privileges. Throughout the campaign, shoppers who spend a minimum of RM800 in up to two receipts can redeem a limited-edition Richie Loopy wrist bag, filled with festive goodies such as red packets, a tower, bottle, mug, and massage stick. Red packets can be redeemed with a minimum spend of RM300 in up to two receipts.
Redemptions for red packets are available from 15 January onwards, while wrist bags can be claimed during weekends of the campaign and on selected Chinese New Year dates at the Information Counter, Sunshine Square, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Adding even more reasons to celebrate Lunar New Year at MOP KLIA, shoppers can enjoy Cashback Instant Rewards of up to RM50 on 7 and 8 February 2025 with a minimum spend of RM200 in a maximum of two receipts, limited to the first 300 customers.
