ISUZU Malaysia Drives ‘Truck For Life’ Nationwide, Strengthening Its ESG Commitment To Serve The Community
ISUZU Malaysia Sdn Bhd (IMSB) has launched its ‘Truck for Life’ blood donation drive as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for 2026, in support of the National Blood Centre Malaysia’s efforts to ensure a sufficient blood supply for hospitals and patients across the country.
Truck for Life will travel nationwide, making stops at ISUZU dealerships to provide convenient opportunities for customers, employees and members of the public to donate blood. Supported by ISUZU dealers nationwide, the campaign is expected to cover area across Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia, beginning in the second quarter of 2026.
According to IMSB’s Chief Operating Officer, Masashi Nuijma, the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to contributing meaningfully to the communities it serves.
“Over the years, IMSB has implemented a wide range of CSR initiatives aimed at supporting communities and creating positive social impact. This year, the ‘Truck for Life’ 2026 Blood Donation Campaign is one of the key initiatives we have committed to in helping the National Blood Centre encourage more Malaysians to step forward as blood donors,” said Nuijima.
The campaign’s first stop, held recently at IMSB’s headquarters in Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya, collecting a total of 15 litres during 1-day event, marking a good start for the nationwide initiative. Following the launch, the ‘Truck for Life’ campaign will continue its journey with IMSB’s Dealer across the nationwide.
The National Blood Centre has consistently called on the public to step forward as blood donors to ensure adequate blood reserves are available for medical emergencies, surgeries and ongoing treatments. On average, between 15,000 and 17,000 bags of blood are required to meet the daily needs of patients across Malaysia.
“For ISUZU Malaysia, we carry a strong sense of responsibility to give back to the community through purposeful and meaningful initiatives,” added Nuijima. “The trust of Malaysians has positioned ISUZU as the No.1 truck brand in the country for over 14 consecutive years. Through the ‘Truck for Life’ campaign, we hope to encourage more people to contribute to saving lives while strengthening the spirit of community support,” said Nuijima.
This nationwide Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative reflects IMSB’s ongoing ESG commitment to community well-being. Over the years, IMSB has actively undertaken various initiatives, ranging from tree planting for environmental preservation to visitations and donation efforts supporting underprivileged communities, including orphanages and elderly homes.
This year, through the ‘Truck for Life’ campaign, IMSB aims to support life-saving blood donation efforts while further strengthening its connection with the communities it serves.
