TEKA Celebrates 100 Years of Achievement and Beyond: Blending Art, Innovation and Future-Ready Kitchens

TEKA, a global leader in household appliances, proudly marks 100 years of innovation, design and excellence—celebrating a century of transforming kitchens and modern living. Under the theme “Beyond 100 YearsDesigning the Next Chapter,” TEKA honours its legacy while unveiling exclusive collections that redefine the future of kitchen design.

“For TEKA, the kitchen is much more than a functional space; it is a canvas where creativity comes to life,” said Stan Fong, Managing Director of TEKA Malaysia. “In an unprecedented tribute to art and creativity, we are proud to present the Van Gogh Museum Edition—where every appliance brings beauty, passion and inspiration into the heart of the home.”

Developed in collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Van Gogh Museum Edition reimagines the connection between art and everyday living. Inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s iconic Sunflowers series, the collection spans ovens, microwaves, induction and gas hobs, extractor hoods and combi fridges. Each piece is meticulously crafted to merge timeless artistry with enduring performance, transforming kitchens into expressive, inspiring spaces.

Complementing this artistic showcase, TEKA also introduced the Infinity G1 | Edition—an elegant collection defined by advanced functionality and refined aesthetics. Created in collaboration with Italdesign Giugiaro, the range draws inspiration from fine jewellery, luxury automobiles and premium technology. Featuring a sophisticated matte black finish with copper accents, it blends Italian design excellence with German engineering precision, delivering versatility, intuitive use and lasting performance for modern homes.

“This milestone reflects TEKA’s ongoing commitment to innovation, creativity and global excellence,” added Fong. “Both the Infinity G1 and Van Gogh Museum Edition exemplify how we continue to push boundaries—making kitchens more intelligent, sustainable and inspiring.”

To support its future vision, TEKA focuses on three strategic pillars: continuous Research & Development to drive innovation, a resilient Supply Chain to ensure reliability, and an Efficiency-Driven approach to remain agile in a dynamic market.

Looking ahead, TEKA envisions kitchens where art, technology and sustainability seamlessly converge—spaces that are not only functional but also deeply personal and inspiring. The brand remains committed to elevating kitchens into central hubs of creativity, connection and everyday living.

In conjunction with the celebration, renowned Malaysian celebrity chef, Datuk Chef Wan will present a live cooking demonstration, showcasing how TEKA’s innovative appliances enhance both performance and the joy of cooking.
