KUALA LUMPUR, 14 May 2026 – Angka-Tan Motor Sdn Bhd (ATM), the authorised distributor of Foton trucks in Malaysia, today unveiled the new Foton Aumark S Euro 5 AMT at the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2026 (MCVE 2026), marking a major milestone in the nation’s commercial vehicle industry.

The award-winning Foton Aumark S Euro 5 AMT is the first Chinese-brand light-duty truck in Malaysia equipped with an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), delivering smoother gear shifts, lower driver fatigue, and improved fuel efficiency for demanding urban delivery operations.

Designed to meet the growing needs of last-mile logistics, the new model combines driver-friendly technology with operational efficiency and reliability. Powered by the proven Cummins ISF 3.8-litre Euro 5 engine, it produces 154 PS and 500 Nm of torque, paired with a new ZF six-speed AMT transmission for enhanced productivity and reduced operating costs.

Built for modern logistics businesses, the Aumark S Euro 5 AMT offers versatile cargo capabilities, robust safety systems, and a rigid cab structure compliant with international ECE R29 standards. Advanced features include ABS, Anti-Slip Regulation, and Hill Start Assist for greater confidence and safety in urban driving conditions.

The launch further strengthens Foton’s growing AMT portfolio in Malaysia, following the introduction of the Foton Auman R Euro 5 AMT heavy-duty truck last year. Together with the fully electric eAumark and Foton Bus range, Angka-Tan Motor now offers a comprehensive lineup supporting urban logistics, long-haul transport, sustainable operations, and people mobility.
