NESCAFÉ Powers KLIA’s Frontliners with New Community Room and 5,000 Coffee Boosts on Labour Day

SEPANG, 1 May 2026 — While most Malaysians were enjoying a well-earned Labour Day break, thousands of airport personnel at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) were hard at work ensuring flights departed on time and travellers moved seamlessly through the nation’s busiest gateway. Recognising the dedication of these unsung heroes, NESCAFÉ partnered with Malaysian Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) to launch its uplifting “Ngopi Dulu, Kekal Bersemangat Bersama” initiative — a heartfelt celebration of resilience, teamwork and everyday determination.

Taking centre stage was the unveiling of a newly refurbished Community Room at KLIA Terminal 1, designed as a welcoming recharge hub for airport staff to rest, connect and refuel during demanding shifts. Equipped with a vending machine stocked with favourites from NESCAFÉ and other beloved Nestlé brands including MILO®, KitKat® and MAGGI®, the refreshed space reflects the brand’s commitment to supporting Malaysians who keep the country moving around the clock.

The initiative builds on the momentum of last year’s “Ngopi Dulu & Kekal Kental Bersama” campaign, continuing NESCAFÉ’s mission of spotlighting the spirit and perseverance of hardworking Malaysians. Throughout the day, more than 5,000 complimentary NESCAFÉ canned beverages — including Original, 3x Shot, Latte and Mocha — were distributed to MAHB personnel as a small but meaningful pick-me-up during one of the airport’s busiest holiday periods.

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, local artiste Black Hanifah surprised airport staff with a lively performance of NESCAFÉ’s iconic “Kekal Kental” anthem, turning the occasion into an energising tribute to the people behind Malaysia’s aviation heartbeat.

As NESCAFÉ steps into its role as KLIA’s recharge partner, more uplifting experiences and accessible “pick-me-up” services are expected to roll out across the airport in the months ahead.
