Go Further Than Ever: BYD Unveils the 2026 SEALION 7 with More Range, Faster Charging and a New Dynamic Entry Variant

KUALA LUMPUR, 30 July 2026 – Bigger on capability, stronger on value and now within reach of even more Malaysians, BYD Sime Motors has unveiled the enhanced 2026 BYD SEALION 7, introducing an all-new Dynamic variant while upgrading the Premium and Performance models with longer range and significantly faster charging.

Already Malaysia's No. 1 D-Segment Electric SUV in 2025 with more than 6,300 deliveries since its debut, the BYD SEALION 7 enters 2026 with one clear promise: go further. From greater driving range and quicker charging to improved accessibility and ownership confidence, the latest line-up is engineered for modern lifestyles that demand more from every journey.

Leading the expansion is the new SEALION 7 Dynamic, offering an attractive new entry point into BYD's flagship SUV family. Designed for urban professionals, young families and first-time EV buyers, it delivers everyday practicality with premium technology, rear-wheel-drive performance, a 520km (NEDC) range and a compelling price tag.

Meanwhile, the enhanced Premium and Performance variants receive larger 91.39kWh Blade Batteries and upgraded 230kW DC fast charging, extending driving range up to an impressive 650km (NEDC) while cutting charging time for greater convenience on the road. Premium customers can also choose the striking new Ultraviolet exterior colour, adding an even bolder expression to the SUV's sophisticated design.

The 2026 BYD SEALION 7 is priced from RM163,800, with the first 300 Dynamic customers enjoying a special introductory price of RM159,800. Exclusive launch rewards are available across all variants, including complimentary wallboxes and overtrade bonuses.
