A Small Jar, A Bigger Conversation: Making Breast Health Part Of Everyday Life
This Pink October, JOBBIE is turning an everyday pantry staple into a quiet reminder to talk
about breast health and to make space for conversations that could matter.
PUTRAJAYA, 2 October 2026 — We often know we should pay more attention to our health. Yet, when it comes to breast health, conversations can still feel uncomfortable, easily postponed or simply left unsaid.
This Pink October, Malaysian homegrown brand JOBBIE is hoping to change that, one jar at a time. In collaboration with Majlis Kanser Nasional (MAKNA) and Lotus’s Malaysia, JOBBIE’s Pink Wobbly Breast Odyssey campaign is bringing breast health awareness into homes and communities nationwide, with 20,000 limited-edition jars available from 1 October to 31 December 2026.
Designed as a “Container of Hope”, the limited-edition jar features illustrated breasts alongside information about common signs and symptoms associated with breast cancer. The idea is deliberately simple: put useful information somewhere people will see it, talk about it and perhaps share it with someone they care about.
For JOBBIE Chief Operating Officer Lorence Khoo, the campaign is rooted in personal experience. Having lost loved ones to cancer, she understands how difficult it can be when awareness comes too late.
“I lost loved ones to cancer, and one of the hardest things to live with was how little we understood about the disease until it had already become part of our family,” he said.
The initiative also turns awareness into tangible support. From every Pink Wobbly Breast Odyssey Jar sold, RM1 will go towards MAKNA, with JOBBIE targeting a RM20,000 contribution.
Beyond the jars, selected Lotus’s stores will host JOBBIE × MAKNA roadshows, while the launch at IOI City Mall from 2–4 October will feature the MAKNA Awareness Truck, interactive AR and VR experiences, and free breast health consultations and risk assessments.
Members of the public can also add their own messages to the Pink Canvas of Hope, creating a collective expression of solidarity with women and families affected by cancer.
The campaign is a reminder that health awareness does not always have to begin with a difficult conversation. Sometimes, it starts with a small, familiar object — and the decision to ask ourselves, and the women we love, to pay a little more attention to our health.
